  • Pro-bono legal and accounting consultation

Facts about The Compassion Project

  1. The Compassion Project (TCP) is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation founded in February 2008 to share the wisdom of the Buddhist mind-sciences of Tibet with diverse audiences here in the West.
  2. TCP is operated by its volunteer board members, and a staff led by Marina Illich, Ph.D., President of the Compassion Project.
  3. Overhead costs such as office space and office supplies are donated.
  4. The Compassion Project is currently filing its application for 501(c)(3) non-profit status. All donations are tax deductible. (When TCP receives its IRS determination letter granting it 501(c)(3) status, all donations made to the organization prior to that date will be retroactively deemed tax-deductible. Donate Away!)
